Yeats quote

seen on the way to Sligo University Hospital for my cataract surgery last month.

I will be moving house on the first of March and I'll be back as soon as I am connected with internet again.  We will still be in Moville so hopefully it won't take long.

coal delivery

some people still use coal for heat.  We have an electrical storage heater which is nice.  It comes on at night when the electricity rates are lower and stores the thermal energy and releases the heat during the day.  Those bags you see being carried are between 40kg.

kaleidoscope of colour

located on Foyle Street.  The project for this mural was undertaken in 2011.  It was part of an innovative new urban arts project which quite literally allows local teenagers to add a splash of colour to their community.
Internationally renowned Philadelphia-based graffiti artist Ernel Martinez recently hooked up with budding painters from the Moville Family Resource centre and the Playhouse in Derry before tackling a wall between Gillen’s supermarket and the Allied Irish Bank.  The new wall is a kaleidoscope of gaudy colours, arranged in the style of a stained glass window.
